This article is about silver price trend prediction. I have predicted many commodity trends like sugar, rubber, gold, silver ... and I found out that it appears that I need to reassess the prediction every 3 months to a year. As I am using my own theory and models, that is quite a good track record considering no one else can predict trends many months or years into the future. Most of my experience has been in predicting the shape of future trends so that we know when to buy and when to sell by viewing my charts. They have been timing prediction charts. This time around I have been trying to put price values at key points in the predictions so do bear with me if I err a little … or a lot, in the future silver price estimates.  I think many people will be disappointed by the price of silver by the end of 2011.

Why do we need a prediction chart?

Have you driven a car from town A to town B? You must know where town B is relative to your current position in town A is, right? You must have a approximate direction then you will get to where you are going. If it is your first trip you may get lost and that is when you will need a map to guide you back so that you can arrive at you destination safely.

Similarly, with investing or speculating you do need a guide which way the market is going. Is it about to turn upward when you are planning to sell or are prices about to fall when you are just about to buy. That would create heavy losses for you. Wouldn't it be much easier to make such decisions if someone provided you with a map of future events, however simple or approximate that map was. Getting tomorrow's news today would definitely be more helpful then yesterdays news, right?

I am not right all the time but I have been know to be right many times and that is why I am providing a prediction of the silver prices for a few months ahead.

This is the first time in two years I am carrying out chart analysis. So do bear with me if I am off in my prediction a little. I can understand if you are wondering whether my charts are realistic. Not a problem. I would suggest that you get the chart and then track the silver prices against what my prediction chart shows over the next few months. Check it out and see if the shape of the trend is about there.  

Silver price behaviour

Silver has a tendency to change its behaviour every so often. I remember in around 2001 when I was trading in commodities, silver price movement changed to spikes. That is upward spikes and downward spikes unlike most other commodities which during those years were behaving in a nice orderly fashion. This made it difficult to apply limits to our positions as the next quoted price would jump over the limits.  

The silver price trend predictions

After examining the silver price movement I believe that silver price will peak at around $45 to $50 very soon, at least above US$38 per oz. And by 2015 it will reach about $55 to $60 price range definitely above US$40 per oz.

But after August 2011 I do expect that the silver price to fall.
